Life lesson: Sometimes life turns out to be even better than expected.

I learned this week that it is ok to give trust to people who deserve it.

I suppose there is nothing more satisfying in life than the moment you roll up your sleeves and get dirty, whether it is with actual dirt, such as dirty laundry, or metaphoric dirt, such as starting therapy for the first time. That is what I intend to do with this blog. I aim to thrill you, please you, tease you, and leave you with sweat dripping off of your face...at least, every few posts or so. This is not a blog to be self-deprecating to a fault or talk about the goodness of the world. It is a blog that will take many forms, but will hopefully carry the spirit of rolling up your sleeves for the first time, digging into topics that matter to an abundance of us. Yours Truly, Abby
